Programa.cat is a grant system that allows the Department of Culture and the Catalan provincial councils (each for the municipalities in their jurisdiction) to support stable municipal performing arts and music programmes by funding part of the contracting costs.
Programa.cat is aimed at:
Municipalities that are integrated into, or have applied for integration into, the SPEEM as basic performing and music venues (E2), or as other types of performing and music spaces (E1) within SPEEM.
Municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants that do not have performing or music facilities (not eligible for integration into SPEEM).
In the case of the province of Barcelona, municipalities that are part of the Protocol of the Circuit of the Network of Municipal Performing Arts Spaces of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
